Holcombe Area Veterans

                         Qualifications to be a listed Veteran on the Memorial Tablets

1.  The Veteran must have served in one of the branches of the U.S. Armed Forces:

Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard or Reserves, or the Merchant Marines

2.  The Veteran must have officially signed their name on enlistment papers at any time since the Revolutionary War.

3.  The Veteran must have an honorable discharge from one of the branches of

service listed in item 1.

4.  In addition to items 1-3, the Veteran must meet one of the following criteria:

a. Worked or made their living in the Holcombe School District for some time.

b. Made their home in the Holcombe School District for a period of time.

c. Attended any school in Holcombe School District at some time

There is no cost to have a qualified veteran’s name inscribed on the memorial tablet.

Note: In addition to the memorial tablets recognizing our area veterans, legacy stones are available for purchase by anyone.
